Mr. Hayao Miyazaki, who received the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film, attended in person the event "The Marc Davis Celebration of Animation: Hayao Miyazaki, hosted by John Lasseter, at the Academy. The audience enjoyed screening clips from his greatest films, a lively discussion and Q&A. A question from an 11-year-old audience was: What were you interested in at the age of 11?
The Judith Leiber store opened for business lately on Rodeo Drive. The storefront attracted attention of visitors by the display of the finest works with glittering crystals. Wow, I could not take my eyes off the works.
The 2009 Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance was held. There was a spectacular lineup of classic and vintage cars. The event highlighted classic alternative energy vehicles. Spectators gathered as the supercar named "Glida" started engine and made sounds. They were spellbound by the performance.
The 4th of July is the national holiday. It was a bright and calm day. This picture shows a view from Greystone Park. I saw a number of different fireworks while driving around LA at night.
