Upstream (1927)
I went to a screening of A John Ford's "Upstream," a 1927 silent film at the Academy. It was re-premiered because it was one of 75 American films found in New Zealand last year. The audience was delighted by restored fine images and live musical accompaniment. It was an incredible opportunity to see a treasure with lots of laughs.

PALEYFEST 2010
The annual event "Fall TV Preview Parties" was held, co-hosted by the Paley Center and the TV Guide Magazine. I saw fans waiting in line for the event. Nowadays we can watch TV programs on-line. So it was a unique opportunity to spend time with fans for watching screenings.

9.02.10 Celebration
The zipe code 90210 is famous as the city's icon. The event "9.02.10 Celebration" was held at the first Taste of Beverly Hills by Food & Wine magazine on September 2, 2010. The news reported that the ceremony included concert performances with special appearances of celebrities and that the guests were provided with unlimited food and drink from LA's renowned restaurants and chefs.
