Greystone Park
It rained two weekends in a row around town. It seems like spring has come because I saw a variety of flowers in bloom in the garden. A haiku poem came into my mind while walking and smelling flowers under plenty of sunshine. The poem needs a season word, so is good for expressing feelings.
I heard that the mansion was used for shooting the movies such as “The Social Network.” I wonder what scenes of the film were shot there.

Cupcake ATM
I often see people line up in front of the Sprinkles Cupcake store. There is the cupcake bar for eat in. Recently I watched the news that the store started to sell cupcakes in 24-hours ATMs. So I rushed there and checked it out. It was the automated machine to dispense cupcakes with touch panel operation! I tried a cinnamon sugar cupcake. It was packed in a box and smelled the aroma of cinnamon faintly in the air when I opened it.

LA Marathon 2012
The 2012 Honda LA Marathon was held and the course was the third annual "Stadium to the Sea" route. Despite prediction of rain earlier the day turned out to be clear. About 20,000 runners passed through town under sunshine. A lot of fans gathered along streets with megaphones, bells and message signs. They erupted in cheers when they saw the first runners.
