The day Kokujin Tensai ROCKED Sendai…
Well, this is just a taste of what is to come…..as we will be putting together more live video of the Kokujin Tensai show last weekend in Sendai. Needless to say, he rocked the stage as part of the BUCDAA show at Macana Live House. This video is basically one part live show, one part creativity provided from our interns here at BUCDAA. Both Yuko and Yoko are huge fans of Tensai and wanted to make something special for this first video……so without further adeau, here is Tensai’s theme performed by Kokujin Tensai, January 17th 2009 in Sendai.

Kokujin Tensai joins forces with OD at ZEPP SENDAI!
With the Hip Hop celebrities in town this weekend promoting their show next week at Macana, they decided to join the stage at the annual JOYNT Muzik festival to introduce their friends OD to the crowd. Check out the video page to see the video of OD performing Codebreaker with Kokujin Tensai and Kurogitsune doing the introductions. It was a great show, with OD getting the mosh pit moving to the point the non-moshers had to move way back (wussies) as it got a little rough from time to time. One thing about these Japanese fans…..there are moshers and non-moshers……the moshers are the same as any you’d find in America, but the non-moshers literally run away from the pit once it starts going….. make me remember a quote….. “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”……in this case though, I guess some folks suffer from Mosh-aphobia. WATCH OUT SENDAI! THE BLACK GENIUS and BLACK FOX ARE COMING!
Mark it down on your calendars Northern Japan…..the internet and youtube sensations Kokujin Tensai and Kurogitsune are coming to Sendai Macana for a show on January 17th, 2009 for a show. Hailing from Memphis, they are now taking Japan by storm with their Memphis style hip-hop with a twist……the twist being that they sing in Japanese. Make sure you catch them at Macana for this show as it promises to be the next step for their taking over Japan!
Also, DON’T MISS OD at Zepp Sendai this Saturday night, the 10th. They will be once again one of the featured bands for the JOYNT skateboard, tattoo, bmx, music festival…..Kokujin Tensai will also be there to meet and greet fans before their show on the 17th at Macana.

Happy New Year from BUCDAA!
Yes, another year has passed into the history books and we here at BUCDAA are very excited to be entering 2009 with all in order, including our limbs, our internists, our faculties and our sanity. 2008 was a challenge as BUCDAA was finally able to establish the website thanks to our wonderful resident genius, Sono……and establish a recurring live show called Movement which will continue along with BUCDAA into 2009. The year was a success in that a couple of our artists were able to visit Japan….Tara Tinsley and Roly Skender in the summer and we look forward to hosting Kokjin Tensai for our 2009 Live Kickoff show……along with that we were able to create a few music videos for Tara, Roly as well as OD. Not to mention the many live show videos which are regularly posted. We look forward to continuing that tradition with OD playing at Zepp Sendai next week and the Tensai coming the following week….keep it tuned to BUCDAA.com for those videos. My radio show continued without a hitch here in Sendai, on Sundays, every week, featuring our musicians exclusively. We will continue to push forward with bringing the best indie music and artists from Japan and the world to you here at BUCDAA! Also, I wanted to just let everyone know back in the states, that while I did not get to partake in a traditional Christmas dinner in Japan…..I did enjoy a feast of epic proportions for New Years……including crab, abalone, shrimp, sashimi, fried fish, baked fish, octopuss, veggies, salads, pork ribs….it was just crazy food! All of it delicious and very Japanese! Check the picture of the spread…..it was a table full of goodness! Anyways……Happy New Year to all and we here at BUCDAA wish everyone a Happy 2009……here’s hoping the world economy can regain it’s footing……there is less killing in the world and move love being shown to all……to those who I haven’t seen in ages since I came to Japan, I miss you all and apologize at my inability to keep up with communication as this Japanese Adventure keeps me not only out of trouble but at times busier than a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest.
